Diamond Fork Hot Springs

A couple of weeks ago we took the kids to the Diamond Fork Hot Springs. This was the first time in a long time that Jared suggested we do something as a family. This was also the first time in a very long time that Jared actually wanted to leave the house! He's healing. It's been a slow process, but progress is being made.

These trees look a little creepy, but I like them!
Yep, still snow. I made the mistake of having the boys wear snow boots. Poor Kirby, he had no traction and I lost count of how many times he fell! At least he's close to the ground!
Snack time. Here's the hot springs! This place is beautiful! It's a couple mile hike, but the hot springs are worth it.
I didn't take any pictures while we were in the hot springs. What can I say, I was too busy enjoying myself and forgot to take pictures! Also didn't want to get the camera wet!

Did I mention Kirby fell down a lot? For the most part he kept getting up and going. There was one or two times were he got a little upset, and once where he actually face planted on rock. Poor kid! He still had fun!
Kirby with "hat" hair!

K, You need to tell me how to get there. We tried to take the homeschoolers on that hike a few years back and we got soooo lost!

I think I was there once in my early 20's but it was dark and there were some nakeds there that should not have been naked. There were also some not nakeds that would have looked better naked than the nakeds did. There were little worms in the water too. Did you see those?
Good Job on getting him out of the house. Baby steps!

How fun! I haven't been there since high school. The old creepy guy got a hot spring to himself. :)

Yay for getting out of the house. And double yay for Jared initiating it.
