I was at Pictureline today, and had the opportunity to get a closer look at the Nikon D300. The sales guy let me to go outside with it to try it out. I took a few pictures of the parking lot, some dirty cars, and the building, but what I was really interested in, was how this camera would work for portraits. I was too shy to ask somebody to model for me, so that only left me one choice. I turned the camera on myself.
Later when I got home and looked at these photos, I was horrified! Is this really what I look like? When did I get old looking????? Now, I’ve never been no beauty queen, but this is just ridiculous! I was really tempted to just delete these pictures and pretend they never happened, but when have I ever taken myself seriously? So, for your viewing horror, here they are! I must warn you, it’s bad.
There's a reason why I'd rather be behind the camera, not in front!
You can see all of my pores and I swear I don’t have that many wrinkles! Or do I? Maybe I should look at getting a camera that’s not as sharp….

Actually you dont look like that in person. You do look older in those pics than you look in real life. Mine is always more of a size issue rather than age.
I am so glad we finally get to see some pictures of you, although they don't really show what you truely look like. I think you have spent so much time behind the camera that you have forgotten how to pose in front of the camera.
NO! The pics don't look like you. I agree with Angeanette. Poor light and background. My dad saw a picture of me and asked if my hair was full of electricity. Thanks dad, I know I have big hair.
Besides...we're not old, we're MATURE! There's a difference.
